Halo Halo

Halo-Halo Dessert. We sold this at a private festival in Washington D.C. on October 26. Yes, it’s VDACS approved. It’s a popular cold dessert in the Philippines made up of crushed ice, evaporated milk and various ingredients including palm fruit, jackfruit, brown sugar banana, Ube halaya (jam), etc.. This the traditional way of serving it with Ube ice cream on top and with other toppings you see here. The other added topping is our own idea. Now, halo halo has evolved and is now being served different ways using a blender to make the ice more like a smoothie consistency or a slush consistency instead of shaved ice and with coconut milk instead of Evaporated milk. Either way, it’s delicious and well sought after, especially during summer time. You can see us serving this at festivals. Find us and try this delicious frozen treat.
